British Eagle Roadster Boys Bike

The British Eagle Roadster is a gem of a bike for any Wiggins inspired young cyclist. The 12 inch frame geometry is specifically designed to fit a junior rider to make the ride as enjoyable as possible. The compact junior drop handlebars provide a wide range of adjustment thanks to the addition of a quill stem to give a large range of height adjustment. The 220mm seat post and rail adjuster saddle provide additional refinement to the fit of the bike so the bike can be set for a leisurely ride or race position. 14-speed Shimano gearing makes keeping up with the pack a breeze. Shimano rear derailleur and stem mounted Shimano thumb shifters work in combination to allow smooth gear transitions for managing all terrains. Lightweight alloy brake callipers, on both front and rear, along with alloy brake levers provide re-assuring braking performance. The wheel set is made from a modern 36 spoke 4x9 lacing pattern, strong and lightweight double wall alloy wheel rims, with matching British Eagle decals and 28c wide racing tyres. The wider tyre provides reassuring grip and balance whilst still maintaining the basis of a functional slick road bike tyre. The universally appealing design runs all of the way through the frame and is coordinated with matching rim decals and a junior specific British Eagle road racing saddle.
