Their multitude of textures is something unique and incredible - smooth, velvety skin, chewy flesh and a luscious, crunchy, jammy centre. Figs are incredibly versatile. Delicious enjoyed in their purest form, but also wonderful baked with almonds and honey. Also try in savoury salads and chutneys, they are even brilliant in sweet or savoury tarts.
