Freixenet Vintage Especial Rosado Brut Cava

Price per 75cl: £14.99, ESTD 1861. The grapes for this special vintage rosado are carefully chosen from our select vineyards in the mountain villages surrounding Barcelona. Here the soil and climate provide the ideal growing conditions to achieve the special aromatic characteristics which typify this Cava. A rich, floral bouquet from the Garnacha grape blends with soft aromas of red fruits, dried figs and dates from the Trepat. The crisp, light palate is characterised by ripe summer fruits while long and careful bottle maturation gives a persistent sparkle which lingers pleasingly in the glass and on the palate. A versatile choice, this refined rosé Cava is ideal as an aperitif or a celebratory drink, and it also makes an excellent accompaniment to fish, pasta and rice dishes. Trepat, Garnacha. 12% vol.
