A general purpose detector ideal for all DIY projects; can be used to detect the presence of wood and metal studs, metal pipes and AC cables. Also suitable for the detection of nails, rebar and other metallic objects. Please ensure you have read the instruction manual before using the product. SPOTLIGHT Illuminates when a target is detected. INDICATOR GROOVE allows easy marking of the target when used in conjunction with the spotlight. POWER ON green LED illuminates when power is switched on. SIGNAL LEDSS the top red LED will illuminate to indicate the edge of a target; further LEDs will illuminate as the signal gets stronger. DETECT BUTTON press and hold continuously to activate detect mode. FUNCTION SWITCH select metal, AC wire or stud.
