The horizontal aluminium-finned heatsink comes in black and has six high-performance nickel-plated 6mm heatpipes running through it. These enable the heat from the copper baseplate to transfer into the radiator. The ends of the copper pipes are equipped with black caps. Because PHANTEKS uses the renowned and sought after P.A.T.S (Physical Anti-Oxidant Thermal Shield) nano-coating, the cooling performance of this small top-blower is markedly higher when compared to coolers of similar dimensions. This is because the nanoparticles on the aluminium fins ensure that heat from other components, such as graphics cards or RAM, is not conducted by the cooler and is reflected away instead.
