Yes VURTU15 Straight Thermostatic Radiator Valve & Lockshield -

A Thermostatic Radiator Valve (or TRV) is a valve which is fitted to a radiator in a hot water heating system that is self-regulating (sets the temperature of the radiator automatically) based on the temperature of the room. It controls the room temperature by altering the flow of hot water to the radiator. In simple terms, it is a valve that can be set by the homeowner to turn on and off the radiator (when the heating system is active) based on the temperature of the room. This allows a level of temperature control in every room of the house, which one would not normally be able to achieve, even with a thermostat controlling the main heating system. In-built temperature control to keep room temperature at a constant level with built in frost protection TRVâs are considered to be more efficient for reducing bills and better for the environment TRVs prevent your home from getting warmer than necessary. They turn the heating on until the room reaches the temperature you have set, and then off until the temperature drops. Your room thermostat should be set to the lowest comfortable temperature, which for most is between 18°C and 21°C. If you only have a single room thermostat for the whole house, for every degree you increase the temperature, it will increase the heating bill by about 10%. You donât need to turn your thermostat up when it is colder outside; the house will heat up to the set temperature regardless. It may take a little longer on colder days, so you might want to set your heating to come on earlier in the winter.
