NBA 2K19

Product Features: Build your team of superstars with MyTEAM; shape your own player with MyPlayer; or prove your basketball skills by taking on players across the globe with online multiplayer. NBA 2K19s biggest new feature is The Neighbourhood, a semi-open world that combines elements of 2Ks MyCareer, The Park, and Pro-Am game modes and integrates them all together in a city environment. Players can move freely around the world earning experience that helps you on The Road to 99, allowing players to max out the stats of their custom character and reach immortality. Featuring soundtracks from classics like Scorpions, The Alan Parsons Projects, and Def Leppard, 2K19 lets players enjoy a dynamic collection of audio masterpieces as they play. New Takeover System - One of the more noticeable changes in NBA 2K19 is a new game system that celebrates the idea that any NBA player can take over a game at any time. Think of this Takeover concept as a more nuanced take on the On Fire system from the arcade classic NBA Jam. Dramatically Reduced Clipping - The switch to the new motion system in NBA 2K19 brought some unexpected problems. Immersion was often shattered due to excessive clipping where limbs, heads, and basketballs morphed through players bodies. Rebuilt Stealing System - Successful steal opportunities are now governed by a zone system that judges vulnerability. Defenders who recognize prime stealing opportunities where the ball is exposed during open-bodied hesitation dribbles and when post players arent protecting the ball from secondary defenders, for example will be rewarded for their smart timing. Dribblers cant just string together moves with no concern about the defenders reach anymore. Reading those situations correctly and stealing at the right time will pop the ball out a lot easier.
