Our founder, Bernard Podlashuk, was a trail-blazing wine visionary whose maverick approach and bold risks helped shape the course of South African wine. This wine celebrates Bernards proud legacy as the first winemaker to release a single variety Shiraz in the Cape. Grapes are hand harvested from prime vineyards and crushed in a small batch basket press then naturally fermented to preserve the inherent dark berry fruit tinged with subtle floral suggestions and black and white pepper spice.
